WARREN, NJ - 2016 will go down in Watchung Hills history. Robin McCabe struck out eight and Kayla Schinick went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI to lead the Lady Warriors over Piscataway, 6-2, for the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2 Group 4 Championship. The team also set the school softball record for wins in a season with 26.
 
Skyler Weisberg, "Voice of Watchung Hills Softball," announced his last game for the Warriors.
 
 
Watchung Hills out hit Piscataway, 9-3. Alyssa Murray allowed no hits in relief.
 
Coach Michael D'Alessandro said, "Both pitchers threw well and combined to hold a good team without an earned run. It was a great team win as we got contributions throughout the batting order."

 
Murray and Annie Suitovsky were both 2-for-3 with one RBI, Brooke Aldrich went 1-for-4 with one RBI and Tina Zoppi was 2-for-3 with two runs for Watchung Hills.
 
Watchung Hills is now 26-5 on the season and will play in the Group semis on Tuesday.
 
The challenge is on. Both the Watchung Hills baseball team and the softball team have set school win records this year and the baseball team will be playing for the section title on Friday at 4 p.m.

WATCHUNG, NJ - Dr. Thomas DiGanci has taken over the helm of Bayberry School in Watchung and a meet and greet has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 23 at 9:30 a.m.
