WARREN, NJ - All parents of current eighth-grade students are invited and encouraged to attend the annual Curriculum Night at Watchung Hills on Monday, Feb.  1, at 7 p.m.

A statement from Watchung Hills says," We are proud of our instructional program and look forward to sharing our vision and an overview of the scheduling process." Supervisors will provide information on the required and elective courses and the course sequences in each academic discipline. They also will share insight into the ninth-grade placement criteria and the level of rigor that can be expected next year. The goal is to find the most suitable placement for our newest students so that they have the best opportunity to learn and grow.

Note that the annual orientation for incoming ninth-grade students will be held on April 26.  This program will be for students only, but parents will be invited to an athletics and co- curricular fair that evening. More information will follow.

In addition, look for an announcement regarding our “Freshman for a Day” program, which will run for a limited time in February and March.
