TOMS RIVER, NJ - The Watchung Hills Indoor Track team qualified three athletes to the NJSIAA Meet of Champions held on Saturday Feb. 25 and Sunday Feb. 26 at the Bennett Indoor Track Complex.

Matt Rizzi, senior high jumper, finished the season with a personal best and school record of 6' 4.25".  He placed 9th overall at the state meet.  


In the 3200 meter run, senior Ryan Martins ended the season ranked 19th in the state.  His time of 9:23 earlier in the season is one of the top times in the state rolling into the outdoor season.  


On the girls side, sophomore Portia Jones competed in the 400 meter run.  She placed 6th overall with a new school record time of 58.02.
