SUMMIT, NJ – Watchung Hills’ Brian Reiss allowed just two runs while scattering four hits, and Watchung erupted for nine runs in the second inning to go on and defeat Summit 12-2.

“Brian Reiss did an excellent job,” said Watchung Hills Coach Joe Tremarco. “He kept the ball down low and pitched to contact.”

Watchung Hills’ Chris Roth and Dan Bongiorno both went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Roth scored twice and Bongiorno had a run scored.

“The bats woke up today, and we took care of the ball,” said Tremarco. The victory improves Watchung Hills’ record to 4-3 on the season. The Hustlin Warriors next play home on Friday April 17th versus Bridgewater.
