WESTFIELD, NJ - Sectional Champs! The Watchung Hills Wrestling Warriors won the NJSIAA North 2, Group 5 37-27 in a hard fought match against Westfield on Friday.

“Even though this is our third straight sectional title, this may have been the sweetest of the three,” said WHRHS head coach Jim Huff. “On paper, we were definitely the underdogs, but I am so proud of all of the wrestlers on our team. They truly came to wrestle tonight, and at every weight class, we battled all of their kids for six minutes. We can’t thank our parents, friends of the WRESTLING team, and fans enough for their support this entire season. However, our work is not done yet. We compete on Sunday, and are looking to win a group state title for the first time in our school history. Finally,  thank you to all the coaches who have helped all year round! It takes a village. Go Warriors!!!"
