Twin City Pharmacy & Surgical, a family owned business, was started in 1972 with brothers Ralph and Thomas Cassio.  Over the years, the family business grew with the addition of Sandy Cassio, Thomas Cassio Jr., and William Ashnault, RPh.  In 2006, ownership was transitioned to Sandy Cassio, Thomas Cassio Jr., and William Ashnault, RPh.

When you walk into the pharmacy you are always greeted with friendly faces.  That is why we take our motto, “Today’s Modern Pharmacy with Old Fashioned Values,” very seriously.  We take special orders for just about anything, so if you can’t find what you are looking for, just ask one of our employees.

To become a more modern pharmacy, we have expanded our products and services to provide more comprehensive medical care.  This includes Durable Medical Equipment (DME), ostomy care, respiratory care, including oxygen service, feeding equipment and supplies, surgical and wound care, orthopedics, incontinence care, and regional hospice services.

REGIONAL HOSPICE PHARMACY

Twin City Pharmacy & Surgical is a regional hospice pharmacy providing medications and equipment needed during the last stage of life. We support the physicians, nurses and family with same day service and deliveries for hospice patients.

In honor of our dedication and service to the patients and hospice programs, New Jersey Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NJHPCO) awarded Twin City Pharmacy and Surgical the “Small Business of the Year” 2007 Spirit of Hospice Award and 2010 "Pharmacist of the Year".

A dog that was found on Jan. 9 is still being held at the Newark Animal Shelter because no owner has claimed him.

SCVTHS Holds First Ever Alumni Homecoming Event
