The annual Spring Plant Sale and Earth Day Celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 at the Somerset County Park Commission's Leonard J. Buck Garden, 11 Layton Road in Far Hills, NJ.
The plant sale will feature choice perennials, ferns, alpines and woody plants, including deer resistant and pollinator-friendly varieties. Handmade troughs will also be available.
Special activities include a free garden talk each day at 1 p.m. and a free guided tour of Buck Garden each day at 2 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by the Watnong Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society.
