Join us for this high energy breakfast which will feature a spirited and inspirational dialogue about women’s entrepreneurship. Explore what leadership means, how Girl Scouts has shaped individual leadership styles, and celebrate the transformative work that is being done in the community through Take Action projects. Lend your voice to the dialogue as a woman of courage, confidence, and character. Discussion moderated by Liliana Gil Valletta Chief Executive Officer & Cofounder, CIEN+, a cultural intelligence firm that helps business leaders and Fortune 500 companies unlock the power of today’s diverse marketplace with research, big data analytics, cross-cultural marketing and community engagement. Liliana was named Outstanding Business Woman by the National Association of Professional Women. Our panel features Vonda McPherson, business owner, chef, and Girl Scout alumnae, who provided catering and tailgating services for the NFL Super Bowl in 2014 and again in 2016. Vonda owns Vonda’s Kitchen and Duke’s Southern Table, both located in Newark.

Power Outage Darkens Warren in Heat Wave

WARREN, NJ - JCP&L is investigating the cause of a widespread power outage in the center of Warren on Wednesday afternoon. Crews are on site and anticipate restoration by 7 p.m.

 

All of the Kings strip is without power including Starbucks.

 

According to the JCP&L website, power is estimated to be restored some time this evening.
