Susan G. Komen North Jersey to Mark its 20th Anniversary with a Special Pink Tie Party Honoring its Founders

Komen North Jersey’s Pink Tie Party celebrates the 20th anniversary of a promise made by the Affiliate’s co-founders to do everything in their power to fight breast cancer right here in New Jersey. The event will pay tribute to Deborah Q. Belfatto, Lisa Herschli and Kathy Hubert-McKenna; and honor RWJBarnabas Health and Wakefern Food Corp./ShopRite for their exceptional commitment to the organization’s mission. Cocktails, dinner, dancing, silent/live auctions, entertainment by The Infernos Band.

A dog that was found on Jan. 9 is still being held at the Newark Animal Shelter because no owner has claimed him. 

Roselle Police said the dog was found in the area of the Roselle side of Warinanco Park. The dog has a distinct blue eye and brown eye. Police also said the animal was checked and had no chip or tags.

SCVTHS Holds First Ever Alumni Homecoming Event

BRIDGEWATER – On Jan. 3, SCVTHS held its first ever Alumni Homecoming event.

SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office has identified the body of a woman found inside a multi-family residence gutted by a Jan. 7 fire as 25-year-old Litze Romero.
