GREEN BROOK, NJ -  Green Brook's Arthur Lewis Park is now open to the public. Park hours are 7am to dusk (presently 8:30pm) and at this time the playgrounds, fitness court, basketball court, beach volleyball court, handball court and pavilion are open.  The Township is in the process of developing procedures for the use of the spray park, including cleaning protocols, staffing and a process for collecting information from the users for COVID related contact tracing, and they armonitoring the current infection rates locally, in NJ and out-of-state, in an effort to come up with protocols that will help ensure the safety of those using it, they said.

The park has two different playground areas, a large one for older kids (5-12+) and a smaller one for younger children. Masks are required when 6 foot social distancing cannot be maintained.

The Township says," The park staff is wiping high-touch surfaces on a regular basis, but we encourage you to bring sanitizer and to wash hands frequently.

Thanks to a grant from RWJBarnabas Health Somerset, the Township was able to launch a National Fitness Campaign court.  Check out the program and download the National Fitness Campaign Fitness Court App, for "how-to" information at https://nationalfitnesscampaign.com/app "
