WATCHUNG, NJ - While July is almost over, there’s still time to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge. Spin the Wheel Wednesdays is just one of the perks of the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Summer Reading Challenge. Sponsored by the Friends of the Watchung Library, stop by Watchung Library on select Wednesdays during July and August to spin-the-wheel for a chance to win a raffle ticket or a prize.
On Wednesday, July 17, Dylan Yang of Watchung, spun the wheel at the Watchung Library and won a book. Library customers are welcome for a chance to win a prize at Spin the Wheel Wednesdays at all SCLSNJ branches through Wednesday, Aug. 14. On July 11, over 30 Library customers observed and learned about unique creatures at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Watchung Library branch. Attendees connected with various creatures, including a boa, a stick bug, an opossum, and a kookaburra bird, through stories and getting to touch the creatures.
