WARREN, NJ - Three Warren residents are aboard one of the Holland America cruise ships scheduled to arrive in Florida Thursday. TAPinto Warren reached out Wednesday to one Warren couple transferred to the MS Rotterdam.

“Fortunately we are both feeling well but it’s tough when your captain tells you that four guests passed away," they said. "We have paused in the sea now to get a nurse and oxygen over to the Zaandam - we pray no one else does.  We are on the Rotterdam since Sunday but of course this odyssey started when we boarded our cruise on March 7th in Buenos Aires. Be safe and thank you for your concerns.  The irony that can’t be lost here is we are wanting to get back to NJ which is a hot spot itself.“

The couple met another Warren resident at lunch who was traveling alone - she happened to live only down the street, they said.

“Hopefully the world doesn’t forget us and all the passengers and crew,” the Warren couple said.

Thursday morning, they “ received some documents that suggest we could be off today - scrambling a bit here now.”
