PLAINFIELD, NJ - An adaptive reuse project aims to breathe new life into the shuttered Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield.  The City Council recently approved a plan by Muhlenberg Urban Renewal, LLC, an affiliate of Bloomfield-based Community Healthcare Associates (CHA), to develop a 186,000 square foot medical arts complex and 120 luxury residential apartments.

Power Outage Hits Watchung Square, Route 22

WATCHUNG, NJ - Power is out at Watchung Square Mall and the traffic lights on Route 22 in the vicinity of Watchung Square at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.  

Route 22 West is closed from Terrill Road to Watching Square Mall Drive due to an accident, police said.

The power company is investigating and traffic is increasing.
