GREEN BROOK, NJ - Green Brook students, parents and other community members wore burgundy on Friday to show support for IEF Principal Paul Fornale who will not be renewed as Principal, according to a Board of Education vote Wednesday.
Organized by Elana Kirschner who said, “I was a student of his back in 2011-2012 and he's left a stunning impact on my life.”
Kirschner made a collage of some town members showing support.
Some 200 people called in to the Wednesday night meeting of the Green Brook Township Board of Education, most wanting their voices heard regarding the non-renewal of IEF Principal Paul Fornale. Fornale is at the end of his two year contract and will be reassigned to his last tenured position as a teacher. (See Green Brook Shows Up for IEF Principal)
A committee of teachers and parents will interview the candidates. Following those interviews, a recommendation will be made to the Board of Education for approval at the June 10 BOE meeting.
