WARREN, NJ - The Warren Township Board of Education appointed a new board member through the end of 2020 and approved a five-day per week return to school for Kindergarten, first and second grade students under Hybrid 1.1 at its meeting on Monday. 

Vaishali Amberkar was appointed on Monday to fill the seat vacated by Susie Chu at the last virtual meeting on Monday, Sept. 21.

Superintendent Dr. Matthew Mingle said that some classified students have already been brought back five days a week, those in self-contained classrooms, and the next area to be looked at will be other classified students with IEPs and 504 plans.
