GREEN BROOK, NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ- Election Day,  Tuesday, Nov. 5. Green Brook and North Plainfield voters have decided local, school, county and state elections. Green Brook and North Plainfield are a part of New Jersey Legislative District 22.

District 22 - (Middlesex, Somerset and Union)  Clark, Dunellen, Fanwood, Green Brook, Linden, Middlesex, North Plainfield, Plainfield, Rahway, Scotch Plains, Winfield 
      Legislators for District  22

In Green Brook Township, two candidates, Linda Bolton and incumbent Gerard Searfoss ran for Township Committee. Unofficial results show that voters have elected Searfoss to retain his seat.

 

Only one candidate,  Janine Potter, has filed to be on the ballot for the three available seats on the Green Brook Township Board of Education. Laurie Rivera and Michelle Cruz ran as write in candidates.

 

North Plainfield does not have municipal elections this year.

For the North Plainfield Board of Education, six candidates ran for three seats: Thomas Allen, Linda L.Bond-Nelson, Jeffrey Brutus, John A. Fellin, Jr., Mark Kruszczynski, and Alba Soto. Unofficial results show Allen, Kruszczynski and Soto to be the winners.
