Coalition-Led Ballot Question Approved, Safeguarding Pollution Settlements

NEWARK, NJ -  Voters provided permanent relief to communities harmed by industrial pollution on Tuesday by approving an environmental coalition-led ballot question that prevents money earmarked for environmental restoration from being raided by Trenton lawmakers.

40th Annual Festival Of Trees Invites Entries

Individuals, local and civic groups, clubs, businesses, Scout troops and others are welcome to design, decorate, and submit a tree for the month-long holiday display at the Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center at 190 Lord Stirling Road in Basking Ridge.
