GREEN BROOK, NJ - The Green Brook Lions were on hand on Sunday, December 8, to assist in a river clean-up event sponsored by the Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership. LRWP has been doing similar clean-ups since 2014.
More than 50 people were on hand to venture into the woods and the stream in order to remove help remove trash and recyclable materials from the brook and surrounding area. The group met at the Green Brook Regional Center and enjoyed coffee and donuts before beginning the clean-up.
