The North Plainfield Education Association (NPEA) will host A Vision for the Future of North Plainfield - Part 4, Advocating for Healthy Schools on March 10, 2020.
Every school day in New Jersey, children, teachers and school staff face conditions that can cause illness or injury. Sometimes these conditions make it harder to teach and to learn. Parents and guardians have a powerful role in supporting their children’s health and learning. Experts from New Jersey Education Association and the New Jersey Work Environment Council-Healthy Schools Now will join us to promote dialogue, collaboration, and joint action.
This event will take place at the North Plainfield Vermeule Community Center located at 614 Greenbrook Road. The event will begin at 6 pm. Please RSVP at email@example.com . Dinner will be provided through an NJEA PRIDE grant.
The NPEA is an affiliate of the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) and represents teachers, nurses, librarians, guidance counselors, department of pupil services, paraprofessionals, secretaries, custodial and maintenance staff, and van drivers.
This event is one of many Pride in Public Education activities carried out by the NPEA each year. North Plainfield PRIDE is an ongoing campaign created to share the education successes of the North Plainfield School District with all North Plainfield residents. The purpose of PRIDE events like this one is to build strong, positive school, family and community relationships to further our great public schools.
