Tree Down On Power Lines on Watchung's Johnston Drive

WATCHUNG, NJ - Johnston Drive between Hill Hollow and Bonnie Burn is closed for the next several hours due to a downed tree on power lines, police advised at 4:50 a.m. on Sunday morning. 

 

Expect possible power outages.

Weather Service Issues Flood Watch for Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ - The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Flood Warning for our area. 
 

At 10:25  P.M. area basins were rising in response to the heavy rain that fell earlier this evening. The Neshanic River at Reaville has risen above flood stage to 7.2 feet, the service said.

Alert: Live Wires Down in North Plainfield

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Live wires have been reported down near 206 Sandford Ave. across the roadway Thursday morning. The fire department and PSE&G are responding to the scene, according to the Breaking News Network  (BNN), which monitors emergency radio activity.
