Flooding Closes Route 22 in Green Brook Near Warrenville Road

Update: reopened

GREEN BROOK, NJ - Major flooding with multiple cars stuck in the roadway has closed Route 22 in Green Brook. Some drivers are going in the wrong direction to get through the area near the intersection with Warrenville Road.

Other parts of Route 22 and the area around the Watchung Circle are flooded.

Flood Advisory and Delays on I-78 in Warren

WARREN, NJ - The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Warren and most of New Jersey through midnight on Monday and I- 78 eastbound is backed up through Warren with incidents near exit 41 and exit 43.


Motorists are advised to use caution and to expect flooding in low lying areas with poor drainage.

Warren Wakes to Power Outage on Fifth Anniversary of Superstorm Sandy

WARREN, NJ -  Five years after Superstorm Sandy, much of Warren woke to a power outage on Sunday. JCP&L had posted that restoration was expected by 10:30 a.m. but at 11 a.m., trucks were spotted on Sunrise Drive, power is still out in many neighborhoods and the Warren outage has disappeared from the JCP&L outage map.
