NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - North Plainfield celebrated under sunny skies at the inaugural North Plainfield Festival on Saturday. And Car Nutz Car Club, celebrated its 15th Anniversary this year. The North Plainfield Fall Festival is a community wide event designed to bring local organizations together with the schools to celebrate the new school year.

“The day was unforgettable and enjoyable for all who attended,” said Michelle Aquino, Superintendent of Schools North Plainfield Board of Education.  “Bringing the community together for the inaugural Fall Festival was an opportunity for us to celebrate the deep-rooted pride in North Plainfield.  This could not have been achieved without the support and tireless efforts of the volunteers on the planning committee.

The planning committee represented the following organizations:  North Plainfield Alumni Association,  Car Nutz Car Club, North Plainfield Business Association, North Plainfield Community Forum, North Plainfield Education Foundation, North Plainfield Government Entities:  Mayor’s Office, Fire Department, EMS, Police Department, Recreation Department, NP Memorial Library (Friends of Library), North Plainfield Religious Leaders, NP Board of Education members, PTA/PTO parent representatives, Hispanic Parent Advisor Group and North Plainfield School District administrators, teachers and staff.”
