NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - After a previous virtual graduation , the North Plainfield Class of 2020 gathered on Wednesday to celebrate the first ever two session in person graduation.
Senior Class President Teyanna Burke said” the West End is indeed the best end!”
“ We showed all the other classes what unity was about,” she said. “ This year I watched the Class of 2020 take charge... Remember we can make a change.”
Valedictorian Daniel Duncan said for the record,” Stoney Brook is the best!”
" This year I had the pleasure of experiencing the pink out when we rushed the field after the football team won,” he said. “ Through adversity rises opportunity.”
“Remember this phrase, “Duncan said. “ I’m in control of my life.”
Superintendent Michelle Aquino said,” what benches do we guard that need to be re-evaluated?... you seniors rallied... we didn’t need to guard the bench.”
“Always promise you’ll be reflective, use your power to make a difference,” she said.
