WARREN, NJ - Connor James scored a hat trick to lead the Watchung Hills boys lacrosse team over New Providence on Thursday, 10-3.

Spencer Bokach made two saves in goal for Watchung Hills.

”It was a complete team effort and a great way to close out an early stretch of non-conference games as we prepare for a difficult Skyland Conference schedule,” said WHRHS head coach Jamie Lovejoy. “We’ll look to build on the success we’ve enjoyed and will continue to focus on areas in need of improvement.”

The Warriors outscored the Pioneers 4-0 in the second quarter to take a 6-1 lead into the half. 

Joe Rica netted two goals and had two assists, Brian Richmond added two goals, Gavin DeFuria and TJ Pecoraro each scored a goal and had an assist, and Brendan Dreyer added a goal for Watchung Hills.

Watchung Hills is 3-0 on the season and next plays Somerville on Saturday.
