WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills is moving on to the North 2, Group 4 quarterfinals on Thursday after a dominating shut out of Columbia on Tuesday, 7-0.

Chloe  Ferreira and Jenna Tobia each scored twice and Emily Morris, Ashley MacManus and Sara Sifert each found the net once on assists from Patty DePinho, Lauren Dolce, Jayden Fleischhacker, and Leslie Sena.

 

“I was very pleased with our effort today,” said WHRHS head coach Brian Figueriedo.  “We had a great start to the game and were able to build a lot of momentum.  This time of year any win is a satisfying win, so we’re on to the next round and excited for the challenge.”

Watchung Hills will next face Scotch Plains-Fanwood away on Thursday in the quarter-finals. The Raiders defeated Perth  Amboy 9-0 on Tuesday.
