Route 22 Reopens After Tree Falls on Car, Traffic Delays Continue

WESTFIELD, NJ — Route 22 in Mountainside near Lawrence Avenue was briefly shut down during rush hour Tuesday morning after a tree fell on one of the cars, according to police.

As of 9:25 a.m., the road was open but traffic remains heavy.
