WHRHS Football: Watchung Hills Falls to Elizabeth on Future Warrior Night, 27-7

WARREN, NJ -  The Watchung Hills Warriors Varsity football team started strong on Friday against the Elizabeth Minutemen, but the first win of the 2017 was not to be. The Warriors fell to the Minutemen, 27-7.

Prior to the game all youth football and cheer organizations were invited to participate in Future Warrior Night where they were announced onto the field before kick off.

WHRHS Soccer: Watchung Hills Boys and Girls Shut Out Ridge

WARREN, NJ - The Watchung Hills boys and girls varsity soccer teams defeated the Ridge Red Devils on Tuesday, by the same score.

In Warren, freshman Jadyn Fleischhaker scoredthe lone goal for Watchung Hills to lift the varsity girls soccer team over Ridge, 1-0.

Kaylee Donnelly saved 11, including a saved penalty kick, to record the shutout for the Warriors.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The North Plainfield boys and girls varsity soccer teams split the games with Rutgers Prep on Tuesday.

Watchung Hills Middle School Warriors Varsity Football Downs Raiders, 20-6

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Watchung Hills Middle School Warriors Varsity Football team opened their 2017 season by defeating the Hillsborough Junior Raiders Varsity Gold team on Saturday night, 20-6. The WHMSFB team has now won 20 consecutive games going back to the 2015 season.

WARREN, NJ - The score doesn't tell the story. Watchung Hills fell to Union, 34-17 but the Warriors looked good to a bursting home crowd at Friday's first home game of the season.
