And in Somerset, the Watchung Hills Lady Warriors upset Franklin in overtime 51-47 in the Somerset County semifinals.  Scarlett Glasser-Nehls led the team with 18 points. Mahogany Jenkins added 15 points and 12 rebounds for Watchung Hills.

“One of the hardest fought road victories in our teams history,” said WHRHS head coach Reece Kirchofer. “Comeback after comeback against a top 20 team and then a gutty OT finish. So amazing to meet our team goal of a county final!  So many plays that need to be made in a game like this! Incredible teamwork has led to this great accomplishment! Alexa Santo pitched in with 9 points and Sophomore Bella Murray added 8 points for Watchung Hills, who improved to 20-4 with the win. Keona Schenck paced Franklin (19-5) with 14 points. 

Both teams will face Rutgers Prep in the Somerset County Finals at Montgomery on Saturday.
