WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills senior Mahogany Jenkins led the way for the Watchung Hills girls basketball team with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Jayden Baltuch added 9 points, 4 steals and 3 assists as the Warriors cruised over Hillsborough at home on Tuesday 49-27.

Sophomore Bella Murray (7 points) and senior Alexa Santo (6 points and 7 rebounds) helped Watchung Hills improve to 6-1 on the season with the win. Watchung Hills next plays at North Hunterdon on Thursday.

In Hillsborough, the Watchung Hills boys defeated the Raiders, 71-42.

 

Michael Bressler led the Warriors with 17 points. Pat Stefurak added 14 points, Elijah Lewis chipped in 11 points, and Chad Martini added 9 points and brought down 14 rebounds.

 

“We really liked the aggressiveness and energy of our boys tonight,” said WHRHS boys head coach Justin Salton. “Once again everyone contributed. Need two good practices for two tough back to back games this Friday at Pingry and vs. Hackettstown on Saturday at Montgomery in Coaches vs. Cancer Showcase.”

The Watchung Hills boys remain unbeaten at 9-0.
