WARREN, NJ - The Watchung Hills boys basketball team ran over the Franklin Warriors  in Thursday’s state quarterfinal,  And set the all time win record and advanced to the semifinals for the FIRST time since 1984. 

Trevor Bokach scored 23 points to lead top-seeded Watchung Hills over Franklin in the quarterfinals of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 tournament, 88-47.

“Monster game ahead on Saturday night in the toughest section in the state,” said WHRHS head coach Justin Salton. “Congrats to our boys for setting the all-time wins record and advancing to the semifinals for the first time in school history.”

Michael Bressler added 19 points and Pat Stefurak had 15 points in the win for Watchung Hills (24-4).Tracy Brown led Franklin (14-14) with 14 points.

Watchung Hills will host Westfield on Saturday at 7 p.m
