LINDEN, NJ - The Warriors are 3-0. With 1:12 left in the game, Spencer Ostroff kicked a 29 yard field goal to lift the Warriors over Linden on Friday, 23-21. Watchung Hills hasn’t been 3-0 to start the season since 1989.
“What a great team effort tonight against a good football team,” said WHRhS head coach Rich Seubert. “The guys never quit tonight and kept fighting. It’s been a long time since the Warriors were 3-0 but this group has worked hard from day 1. I would like to thank all the fans for making it to the game tonight as the Tribe is back giving us the support the boys need. We look forward to getting back to practice and preparing for Westfield next week.”
