WARREN, NJ - Senior guard Michael Bressler netted 31 points to lead Watchung Hills over Curtis (NY)  on Saturday in the inaugural Bottoni & Cruz Tournament, 78-48.

Watchung Hills never trailed and took a 47-15 lead into the half.  Brian Hopwood added 11 points, Patrick Stefurak hit for 10 and Chad Martini got 8 points and brought down 13 rebounds.

“We played one of New York City’s traditional powers and made a statement, which was nice,” said WHRHS head coach Justin Salton. “We shot the ball extremely well and will play a top team tomorrow in the championship.”

Watchung Hills will play the winner of today’s 4 pm game in the tournament championship Saturday at 1 pm.
