SOMERVILLE, NJ - Watchung Hills boys soccer team defeated Somerville on Tuesday, 1-0. Ryan Scheiner scored the lone goal for the Warriors on a Scott Romankow assist. 

Jake Seyda had the clean sheet with 8 saves in goal for Watchung Hills. 

“Great to get a win going into the county tournament this weekend,” said WHRHS head coach Greg Leonow. Watchung Hills takes on Ridge in the Somerset County Tournament on Saturday.

“Happy for the team with a victory over Somerville,” said WHRHS assistant coach Justin Salton. “This is a big week for us as we need to have good results if we want to qualify for the state tournament.
