WARREN, NJ - Two Watchung Hills Regional High School boys track and field athletes are moving on to Nationals in North Carolina  to compete in the championship bracket at New Balance Nationals.

Watchung Hills junior Bradley Jelmert has solidified himself as the No. 1 pole vaulter in NJ all season. He had a chance to prove it once again at the Meet Of Champions and to cap his High School season with a State Title.

“He did just that jumping 15’6 and holding the No. 1 spot in New Jersey!” said WHRHS head coach Estiven Benitez. “Bradley has now had five first place finishes this season, along the way capturing the, Conference, County, Sectional and State title! He is only a Junior and we expect big things from him next year.  He will also be heading down to North Carolina this weekend to compete in the Championship bracket at New Balance Nationals!”

“He has been steadily increasing his mark for the past month and finally popped out a 191’11” this weekend at the Meet Of Champions! “ said Benitez. “He claims the No. 4 spot in the State for Jav! Chris,  just like Bradley, is only a Junior and will look to make an even bigger name for himself next year.
