ANNANDALE, NJ -Watchung Hills improved to 7-1 with a 54-30 victory over North Hunterdon on Thursday. 

“This team continues to be the most unselfish balanced team I have ever coached," said WHRHS head coach Reese Kirchofer.  "Their team play on both sides of the ball has led to this unbelievable 7-1 start. I have had so many random people tell me what a pleasure it is to watch this team dynamic. They continue to make me and the Watchung Hills community proud with every game! It’s been an amazing start we hope to keep it Rolling into next week!”

Senior Mahogany Jenkins led the way for the Warriors with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks and senior Jayden Baltuch added 8 points, 5 assists and 3 steals.

Sophomore Bella Murray and senior Scarlett Glasser-Nehls each pitched in 10 points for the Warrior. Jessica McLaughlin paced the Lions with 12 points.

Watchung Hills next plays at Franklin on Tuesday.
