WARREN, NJ -  The Watchung Hills girls soccer team defeated Immaculata 2-1 on Saturday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Somerset County Tournament.

The Warriors will take on Ridge in the quarterfinals away at 2pm next Saturday.

“Anytime you win a tournament game, it’s a good win,” said WHRHS head coach Brian Figueriedo. “Immaculata had a solid plan and executed well, but eventually we were able to break them down and put away a couple chances.  We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we found a way and we’re moving on.”
