WARREN, NJ - Five Watchung Hills Wrestling Warriors punched their tickets to Atlantic City after last weekends Region 4 in Union and after three days in Atlantic City, they hope to be among the 14 champions at the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics State Championships. 

Nico Calleo and Blake Bahna placed first in the region, Jack Murray and John Dusza placed second, and Gerard Aroneo placed fourth. Calleo earned the number one seed in Atlantic City.

“Advancing 5 to Atlantic City is no small task. Nico, Jack, Blake, John, and Gerard all showed heart and determination to finish in the top four,” said WHRHS head coach James Huff. “Although Hunter(Seubert) and Dylan( Kolakowski) did not make it, they showed that same heart and determination. The NJSIAA State tournament starts on Thursday and goes until Saturday. Hopefully we will have some guys place in the state!”
