NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Judge John Aronian has won his bid for re-election and will be joined on the bench with Republican Daniel Seymour.

The Westchester County Board of Elections unofficial election results showed Republicans Aronian and Seymour leading in the polls with 709 and 604 votes, respectively, defeating Democrats Solomon Schepps and Robert Leder, who received 541 and 457 votes respectively.  

Aronian, who has lived in North Salem for almost two decades, was elected in 2015 to become the first new Town Justice in 30 years. He is a member of the Fire Department, Lions Club, a director of the Chamber of Commerce and a contributor to the library and North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Seymour, who has practiced law in the Justice Courts of Westchester County for more than 30 years, looks to uphold the constitution with a focus on youths and provide equal and fair access to the court.
