Arrest Made in Murder of North Salem's Lois Colley

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Two years after the murder of North Salem resident Lois Colley, authorities announced today that an arrest was made.

Esdras Marroquin Gomez, a former laborer who had worked on Colley's 300-acre estate, was arraigned today before Judge Barbara Zambelli on an indictment charging him with second-degree murder for the Nov. 9 murder of Colley in 2015.

Gomez pleaded "not guilty." His next scheduled court date is Dec. 7. He faces 25 years to life in state prison.
