NORTH SALEM, N.Y.— A late winter nor-Easter, dubbed ‘Stella’ and ‘The Blizzard of 2017,’ pounded North Salem on March 14, leaving the town with 15 inches of snow and forced the closure of North Salem Schools for two days. The voluminous snowfall and strong gusty winds enabled lots of folks to enjoy some forced downtime.
