NORTH SALEM, N.Y.— Members of the Croton Falls Fire Department sent a team of five firefighters to participate in the 35th Annual East Coast Firefighters Charity Ski Race at Hunter Mountain.

The team took two runs through a downhill race course dressed in turnout gear while carrying a 50 foot section of hose. Proceeds from the event went to a charity of the winner’s choice. While the Croton Falls firefighters didn’t win the race, the team improved their time over 2016’s results and everyone had a great day on the mountain.
