Leicht, Jolley Lead Way at County Meet

HARRISON, N.Y.— 

It was Ben Leicht and Ava Jolley sparking North Salem’s track and field team again at the Westchester County Championships on Sunday, May 20, at Harrison High School.

Leicht, a junior, was third in the 800 meters in a clocking of 1:57.67. Horace Greeley’s Jeremiah LaDuca was second (1:56.04) with Byram Hills’ Michael Gertz taking first (1:55.89).

The freshman sensation Jolley placed fourth in the 3,000 meters in a time of 11:00.74. She was also 10th in the 800 meters (2:30.06).

Juliette Intrieri was 13th in the 800 meters (2:33.61) and 14th in the 3,000 meters (5:11.26) for the girls. Katie Mogg ran in the 100-meter dash (20th, 13.42) and 200-meter dash.

Lucas Colletes took 23rd in the 400-meter dash (54.08) for the boys.
