Murphy Sworn In

NORTH SALEM, N.Y.— Sen. Terrence Murphy was sworn in to a second term of office at the Putnam County Courthouse on Dec. 30.

Murphy, a former Yorktown councilman, was re-elected to a second term in November.

In Westchester, Murphy represents the 40th Senate District, which includes the towns of North Salem, Bedford, Cortlandt, Yorktown, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge, Yorktown and Somers, the city of Peekskill as well as the villages of Briarcliff Manor, Buchanan, Croton-on-Hudson, Pleasantville and Sleepy Hollow.
