NORTH SALEM, N.Y.— A portrait commissioned by Chief Justice Jonathan Lippman of the Appellate Court of the State of New York was unveiled April 3 at the Appellate Court in Albany.

Artist Daniel Greene created the portrait after Judge Lippman posed for him in his North Salem studio. The ceremony unveiling the portrait was attended by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. The portrait now hangs at the State Court of Appeals in Albany.
