NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The Pequenakonck Elementary School PTO sponsored the second annual Turkey Trot on Nov. 15. This day of family fitness encourages kids and adults to get out and run or walk the PQ trails and then stay for some snacks and post-race fun.

The event was open to all PQ students and their families and was made possible by a $1250 grant awarded to the PTO by Northern Westchester Hospital in 2012.

North Salem News gives a special thank you to Sergej Zoubok for sharing the photos with the newspaper.
