NORTH SALEM, N.Y.— North Salem Supervisor Warren Lucas said some residents may be subject to a billing snafu on their NYSEG bills.
Lucas said many of the residents who take part in the Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program and are getting a fixed electricity supply rate price from Constellation Energy, were not billed last month. Some people have not been charged for the past two months.
In a Facebook notification, Lucas said there is a memo section of your electric bill that will indicate whether you have have been charged.
Lucas says Constellation Energy is reviewing the issue and will be sending out a letter of explanation. They’re vowing to have the billing issue fixed by the next bill.
