NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The school budget passed handily in North Salem and both incumbents were re-elected to the school board along with newcomer Brandy Keenan.

According to Superintendent Ken Freeston, the budget passed 413 to 131. 

Trustees Jennifer Binette and Deborah D'Agostino were re-elected to the Board of Education with 382 and 346 votes, respectively. Brandy Keenan received 328 votes, securing the third open seat on the school board.

Candidates Jeffrey Smith and Jaime Roche trailed at the polls with 208 votes and 204 votes a piece.
