Underage Drinking Assessed at North Salem Establishments

NORTH SALEM, N.Y.— State Police in Somers conducted an underage drinking initiative on Feb. 4 designed to identify establishments that sell alcohol illegally to minors.

The nine establishments evaluated included the Westchester County towns of North Salem, Somers, Pound Ridge and Lewisboro.

Cops used an underage male agent with the team to try and purchase alcoholic beverages at each establishment illegally.

Officials announced that each of the nine establishments checked was compliant and did not sell alcohol to the undercover agent, and none was issued a violation.

The establishments visited were:

 

Gordon’s Deli Cafe in Croton Falls in North Salem

 

Croton Falls Wine and Liquors in North Salem

 

Somers Mobil Mart in Somers

 

7-11 Store in Somers

 

DiCicco’s Supermarket in Cross River

 

South Salem Wine and Liquor in the town of Lewisboro

 

Pound Ridge Wine and Spirits in Pound Ridge

 

Cameron’s Deli in Cross River

 

Scott’s Corners Market in Pound Ridge
