Kids Gaelic Football Tournament

WestPut Setanta, a Gaelic football club, is hosting a tournament at Navajo Fields in Yorktown. The tournament is for U8 kids, and will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26.

This has grown to be the biggest tournament on the East Coast for Gaelic football at the U8 age group, and this year, the club has added a dedicated girls only division due to demand.

Over the past couple of years, the club has had 120-140 kids playing on the day with teams coming from all over the Tri-State area. This year, the club has teams coming from Westchester, Queens, Rockland, Bronx, Yonkers, Philedelphia and Boston.

The club is 100 percent volunteer-driven and does not charge membership fees to the kids to join the club/teams.
