North Salem Settles Discrimination Suit Filed By Former Court Clerk

NORTH SALEM, N.Y.-The Town Board has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by the estate of a court clerk in which she claimed she was discriminated against and not reappointed in 2015 due to medical issues she was facing.

The months-long legal dispute ended Tuesday, Jan. 23, when the Town Board voted to pay $125,000 to the estate of Patricia Lee Rubino.
