How old were you when you started playing soccer and what got you started?
I started playing in kindergarten, so I was roughly 5. Because my sister played, and I did everything she did, I wanted to play, too. From there, I fell in love with it.
What is your favorite thing about being on the soccer team at North Salem?
The program we have here is really special. Every year, all the girls look forward to soccer season. We love playing together, and most importantly we love winning together.

After any game, or really whenever we can, we always have our speaker on full blast and we’re screaming the lyrics to every throwback song you can think of.
Do you have any personal or team goals for this season?
We’ve been a threat in our class all season, and we will definitely continue to be in sectionals. I’m looking forward to making a run in the postseason and really showing what this team can do.
Who has been your biggest role model over the years and what have you learned from them?
Over the years, my biggest role model and support system has easily been my sister.
She’s not only my best friend, but she’s shown me an incredible work ethic and how to overcome huge obstacles within yourself, especially athletically. I’m very lucky to have her as a sister and role model.

We have our “5 before” playlist we put on 5 minutes before we get off the bus. Because we’re a tradition-driven team, it only consists of three songs that we never get sick of.

I have a pretty massive sneaker collection.
